give a year Partnership: Eastern Michigan University graduate programs

EMU

City Year is proud to partner with Eastern Michigan University College of Education, one of the nation's premier colleges of education, offering 25% tuition scholarships.

Background

Founded in 1849 as the first "normal school" west of the Alleghenies, Eastern Michigan University is one of America’s largest producers of educational personnel. The College of Education at EMU provides outstanding leadership in education. Our graduates are highly sought by school districts and other employers. Our alums have achieved much recognition and positions of prominence. The College offers a comprehensive range of programs—bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees (many with online and off-campus options)—and extensive non-degree and certification experiences. All professional education programs are accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and approved by the Michigan Department of Education. Over 30 programs have national recognition.
