Time is running out and our students need YOU! Citizen Schools is at the end of our National Teaching Fellow recruitment season, but has a few final slots open. This could be your chance to Teach, Serve and Grow with the most innovative and diverse leaders of your generation. 

Our current high need applicant areas are in San Jose and Oakland California! Training is already underway in preparation for the new school year, so we are looking to fill final positions as soon as possible! Join the other CY alumni that have already joined our team this season and Apply Now 

City Year AmeriCorps members like yourself have seen how important a positive role model can be at a critical time for students and as a Fellow you can continue to support students in pursuing their academic goals by providing academic support to first shift teachers and in your own classroom, mentorship and exciting new real-world learning opportunities,. Our Teaching Fellows are a team of talented individuals like you, committed to impacting youth, community and education. Depending on where you serve now, we just might be there too.

The Citizen Schools National Teaching Fellowship is a paid AmeriCorps national service opportunity, where your two years of service gives students 900+ extra hours of learning, access to caring adults and new experiences that translates into college readiness, career opportunity and the ability to achieve their dreams. If you’re interested, you’ll have the opportunity to make a lifetime of difference in one of our six regions across the country contributing to the 5,000 students served nationally.
