For City Year’s 25th Anniversary, the organization hopes to celebrate the accomplishments of our 25 years, accelerate our scale and impact goals, and unite our community of corps, alumni, and stakeholders behind City Year’s long-term impact goal.The Alumni Campaign is a special initiative of City Year’s 25th Anniversary In School & On Track campaign which seeks to raise catalytic funds in support of City Year’s Long Term Impact strategy.
City Year’s Long Term Impact goal is to provide a continuum of care from 3rd through 9th grade designed to promote 80% of students to the 10th grade on time and on track in 2/3 of the cities that account for the nation’s urban drop-outs. City Year hopes to ultimately reach over 800,000 students in 1,200 schools from 38 cities every day.
With the leadership of the National Alumni Advisory Board, the 25th Anniversary Alumni Campaign raised more than $300,000 to help resource City Year’s long-term impact goal, raise awareness about City Year’s role in the education sector, deepen connections within the alumni community and build a broader culture of alumni giving.
