City Year is proud to partner with Institute of Nonprofit Management and Leadership at Boston University School of Management, a Certificate Program and leadership development experience designed to educate, support and connect the next generation of nonprofit leaders, offering a $5,000 tuition scholarship.

 

Background

The mission of the Institute for Nonprofit Management and Leadership (INML) is to educate and connect the next generation of nonprofit leaders. Its cornerstone is the Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership Program; the Institute also conducts research and supports a burgeoning network of practitioners through fellowships, teaching and mentoring opportunities, and access to university-based resources.

The Institute is designed to meet the needs of new and emerging leaders in the nonprofit sector with a special emphasis on individuals who are dedicated to leading social impact organizations in urban settings or working with underserved populations, youth-serving organizations and social justice organizations.

Eligibility

  • City Year alumni for at least one year of service and City Year staff members employed for at least two years.

All applicants must answer the essay question under "Scholarship Application” to be considered for the City Year scholarship.
