More than 25 years ago, City Year was founded on the belief that young people can change the world. Today, more than 3,000 diverse young adults serve full-time at City Year's 27 locations across the country to help turn around high-need schools and get students back on track to graduation.  As a City Year alum, you know that the work of City Year corps members does indeed change the world. One way to continue to support these young leaders is by making a donation.

MAKE A DONATION

Yes! I want to help City Year support young people in service!

DONATE NOW

We welcome your support

According to a Northeastern University study, society bears a cost of $292,000 for every student who drops out of high school in lost earnings and increased social services costs. However, with 12% of our nation's schools producing 50% of dropouts, the dropout crisis is highly concentrated ans solvable. Things need to change, and we need your support to make it happen.

How you can help keep students in school and on track

When you partner with City Year, we’ll use your donation to put more AmeriCorps members into more schools nationwide. Your support will allow us to partner with more schools and communities, to dramatically increase the number of students who reach 10th grade on time and on track, making them four times more likely to graduate. Your support will bring us that much closer to achieving our Long Term Impact Strategy-our plan for growth that'll double the number of students in our schools who reach the 10th grade on track and on time. Ultimately, we aspire to serve over 800,000 students per day, in 1,200 schools nationwide, something that’s only possible with the continued support of our donors and partners.
