City Year is proud to partner with Rocky Mountain Prep Teaching Fellowship so our alumni can continue to make a difference in classrooms and in the lives of students. This partnership reflects the shared visions and values of both organizations, and their belief that young people can keep students on track to graduate from high school and pursue post-secondary education. City Year strengthens an applicant’s competitiveness and chances for being selected for Rocky Mountain Prep Teaching Fellowship.
Rocky Mountain Prep Teaching Fellowship is a 1 year residency based teaching fellowship program which prepares the next generation of PK-6th grade teachers to close the educational opportunity gap. For a full school year, fellows will learn from master teachers at RMP. They will also receive weekly professional development, observation, and coaching. Licensure opportunities are available from the University of of Colorado Denver.
The City Year experience is a strong indicator of future success at Rocky Mountain Prep and serving a year with City Year strengthens an applicant’s application and chances for being selected as a Teaching Fellow.
