As a City Year alum or currently serving corps member you understand how challenging and rewarding a year of service can be. Many of you have helped students get back on track to graduate by improving their course performance, attendance and behavior. You have provided tutoring, mentoring, monitored attendance, supported positive behavior, lead after-school programs and organized activities that improve the overall school environment. As young leaders between the ages of 17 and 24, corps members are uniquely able to help students and schools succeed.
Please consider applying to become a Senior Corps or Second Year Corps Member. The opportunity to serve another year is an incredible step towards your professional future and possibly, a career at City Year. Team Leader Link to application
Team Leaders are school based senior corps members who lead team initiatives such as school related projects and community engagement. In addition they support their Program Manager in maintaining sustainable school house relationships and service delivery. Throughout the service year they work with their teams to provide peer coaching in increasing their service delivery and navigating their corps experience.
Project Leader Link to application
School Related Project Leaders support the coordination and facilitation of impact driven initiatives. These members help strengthen service delivery by coaching their peers through the process of providing impactful service in schools. Opportunities in this category may include but are not limited to training, evaluation, cymentor, and service.
Physical Service Senior Corps Members civically engage community and corporate volunteers to participate in transformational service with City Year. These members may be a part of a team at a local site or be part of our Care Force team.
