Equal Opportunity Schools (EOS) creates equitable learning environments and ensures that students from diverse ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds have the opportunity to enroll and succeed in the most rigorous high school courses.

Through the Action For Equity (A4E) framework, we support schools and public school districts with the coaching, data analytics, and student identification tools necessary to eliminate the opportunity gap.

We’ve partnered with over 800 schools, including 5 of the 20 largest districts in the country. We’ve maintained an 80% renewal rate with district partners, and have supported districts to enroll an additional 52,000 students of color and low income students into advanced academic pathways across the country. Over 75% of schools maintain their pass rates, average grade earned and average test score after working with EOS.

The Opportunity: 

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the VICE PRESIDENT OF PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT will set the vision and execute on a go-to market strategy for revenue generation and growth, build the department’s infrastructure, mobilize and manage a national team, and lead the strategic direction for the marketing and communications team.

What You’ll Do:


  • Utilize data and understanding of the national educational and political landscape to develop a roadmap to attract and secure new middle to large high school district partnerships.
  • Monitor CAC (customer acquisition costs), identify Marketing Qualifying Leads (MQLs) and Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) in order to strategically allocate resources and develop pipeline generation and territory plans.
  • Serve as an EOS ambassador at national conferences, facilitate and pitch program offerings and impact to district Superintendents, and provide leadership to Regional Sales Directors during prospective engagements.


  • Conduct performance evaluations, develop career progress plans, and leverage the strengths and expertise of eleven (11) leaders across functions (e.g., marketing & communications, sales operations, data analytics).
  • Analyze talent needs, gaps, and growth areas in order to structure, forecast, and hire new leadership.
  • Work in collaboration with the Human Resources team to design and execute onboarding and staff training experiences that prepare people to excel in their role.
  • Tap into institutional knowledge and team expertise to develop a repository for positions.


  • Analyze internal systems, practices, and the velocity of the sales cycle in order to create repeatable processes and prepare for scaling.
  • Collaborate with the technology, finance & operations, program & partnerships, resource development, and marketing & communications team to streamline systems and achieve revenue goals.
  • Manage the department budget to maximize resource investments, expenditures and return on investment (ROI).


  • Co-develop messaging and communication strategies that tie-back to revenue targets.
    Collaborate with the Partnership & Programs team to elevate and highlight stories and the impact from the field.

Who you’d work closely with: The Partnership Development team includes (11) eleven leaders across several functions; marketing & communications, sales, sales operations & analytics. In addition to the current opening(s), there may be additional role(s)/capacity added to the team once this new hire is onboarded.

Travel: During your first year, it’s anticipated that you will travel approximately 20% of the year. There is flexibility in regards to when travel takes place.
