City Year New York
Diverse. Fast-Paced. Tough. It’s not always easy to live in New York, but it’s always worth it. City Year New York is helping the city’s students and schools succeed.
City Year New York AmeriCorps Members act as positive role models and near-peer mentors to elementary and middle school public school students. By partnering with NYC teachers, “City Years” drive measurable gains in academic and social emotional performance through in-class intervention, as well as robust after school programs.
Ensuring more students are on track to high school graduation
