Career Partnership with Blueprint Schools Network

City Year is proud to partner with Blueprint Schools Network so our alumni can continue to make a difference in classrooms and in the lives of students. This partnership reflects the shared visions and values of both organizations, and their belief that young people can keep students on track to graduate from high school and pursue post-secondary education. City Year strengthens an applicant’s competitiveness and chances for being selected for Blueprint Schools Network.

Blueprint Schools Network (Blueprint) is a 501(c)(3) national non-profit organization that partners with districts and schools to promote educational equity and improve life outcomes for students. We are currently working with public school districts in Oakland (CA), Boston (MA), Salem (MA), Holyoke (MA), and East St. Louis (IL) to plan and implement rigorous school improvement initiatives using a framework of comprehensive reform strategies in more than 71 schools, serving over 14,000 students. A key component of our work is an intensive, daily, in-school math tutoring program Blueprint operates called The Blueprint Fellows Program.

The City Year experience is a strong indicator of future success at Blueprint Schools Network and serving a year with City Year strengthens an applicant’s application and chances for being selected as a Blueprint Fellow.  Click here to learn more about the Blueprint Fellows Program experience.
