In 2009, Deloitte deepened its relationship by becoming a National Leadership Sponsor with its investment to support City Year’s In School & On Track Initiative, with a focus on helping 9th grade students successfully transition to high school, keeping more students on track to graduate. Today, Deloitte is City Year's National Strategy and Innovation Sponsor. This relationship increases Deloitte’s work with City Year surrounding pro-bono support and program innovation, including hosting and leading sponsor of City Year’s National 18 Minute Networking Event, continuing their mentoring program for corps members, and professional development training for City Year staff.

City Year & Deloitte – Fall Timeline

  • Before September 18: Any City Year AmeriCorps member who would like their resume reviewed by Deloitte for feedback BEFORE submitting final resume to apply, can send to Eric Zmuda on the Deloitte team by September 18.  Please make sure your GPA is on your resume.  Note: there is no penalty for resumes sent to Eric prior to the deadline to get reviewed / edited. This will not negatively factor into the final resume submission.

  • September 21:  Deadline to apply.  Please submit your final application materials along with name of the position you are applying for (see job descriptions above) to Eric Zmuda at (and cc:
    • A complete application packet consists of (1) resume (2) unofficial transcripts.
  • By October:  All candidates will be notified if they are selected for a first round interview.
  • By November: First round interview candidates will be notified if they are invited for second round interview.
  • Estimated Start Date: Summer/Fall of 2019
