Spring/Summer 2020 Service Opportunities - The Haas Center for Public Service at Stanford is compiling paid and unpaid remote service opportunities in four crucial areas: Defense of Democracy and Voting Rights, Basic Needs, Healthcare/Public Health, and Global Climate Change.

Impact Community Job Matching Platform - The Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University has created a tool where you can add yourself to the talent pool and search job listings in the field. Organizations can also post opportunities to the list.

  • Visit the LinkedIn page on City Year Alumni Website to access support resources:
    • LinkedIn Search Tips to Make City Year Alumni Connections:   Guide covers understanding 1st-2nd-3rd level connections, how to run searches to find alumni who have followed relevant career and education paths, and recommendations for following up with alumni through an informational interview.
      • Note: This trending Tik Tok video does a great job of capturing the strategy of using LinkedIn's People Search to identify alumni who work at companies you want to intern or work for and requesting informational interviews.  If you are a college graduate, you can use your alma mater to run the search for alums of your school.  For everyone, you can find City Year alumni by entering "City Year" under "Past Companies."
