City Year Orlando is proud to collaborate with the University of Central Florida and Orange County Public Schools to launch a new five-year doctoral specialization program funded by the National Science Foundation Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program.

This program will serve as an innovative model for empowering math teachers to serve as leaders in their schools and districts. The 15 UCF-OCPS Noyce Teacher Academy fellows will earn a Doctorate of Education with specialization in K-8 mathematics education while working to directly support K-8 math teachers, administrators, students in the schools where the Fellow teach, City Year AmeriCorps members, and students served by City Year AmeriCorps members.
