Read below for an important update on City Year Philadelphia's 2024 MLK Day of Service.
Important MLK Day of Service Update: Due to environmental concerns within School District school buildings, we find it necessary to scale back our plans for our 2024 MLK Day of Service to better align with School District guidelines. After careful consideration, we have decided to limit participation in this year’s event to internal staff and Student Success Coaches.
We appreciate your understanding as we navigate these challenges. While we regret that we won’t be engaging with our broader community of partners and supporters, our commitment to creating a positive impact in our community remains unwavering. We are confident that our scaled-back internal activities will still contribute meaningfully to the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
